Check out DI University!

Interested in being a Team Manager or Appraiser?  Go to DI UNIVERSITY at www.diuniversity.org. Simply set up a free account (using your email address) and interact with the module of your choice!  Periodic knowledge checks and a final assessment will give you feedback on how much you've learned.  This is a great resource for new Team Managers to get familiar with how to have team meetings and use creative problem solving tools!

Tidewater DI Grant -- START A TEAM!

Interested in starting a DI team, but strapped for cash?  A generous sponsor has donated money to our board to help fund teams!  This needs-based grant will be used to purchase a team pak and a tournament registration fee totaling $175 per team.   Click here for more details.

Tournament Information

Welcome to the 2011-2012 DI season!  We'd like to share some information with you regarding our tournament.  We're currently planning on having the tournament on Saturday, February 25th.  We're working on securing Landstown High School, and are awaiting confirmation from them.  Barring that, we're looking also at Corporate Landing Middle School.  Either way, plan on the 25th!  We'll post final information as soon as we receive it.

Hairy Thinkers show their stuff in schoolwide assembly!

The Hairy Thinkers of Woodstock Elementary school got the chance to show off their solution to Triple Take Road Show to a local audience -- their friends!  The elementary school held an assembly just to honor the team that took 1st place at Globals!  The Hairy Thinkers kept their audience laughing and cheering after each musical number!  They've been recognized by Mayor Will Sessoms, the Virginia Beach School Board, Governor Bob McDonnell, and US Congressman Scott Rigell!  Congratulations to the Hairy Thinkers!  TidewaterDI is so proud of you!

Global Finals 2011 -- Wrap up and Congratulations!

WOW!!  What an unforgettable Global Finals event!  The challenges were tough, the kids inspiring, the pins spectacular, the events a-plenty, and the time too quick!  We are so proud of all our our Tidewater teams who worked so very hard to make it to Knoxville this year!  You all have done an amazing job, and we hope your experience was unforgettable!  Congratulations to THE KILLER BEAVS of Kemps Landing Magnet, THE FLY CREW of Crestwood Intermediate, THE PURPLE PIE-EATING PANDAS of Larchmont Elementary, and the CONTAMINATINGLY DEVILISH WHISPERS of Plaza Middle!

A very special congratulations goes to THE HAIRY THINKERS of Woodstock Elementary who placed FIRST in the Imagination site of Triple Take Road Show!!!!  IncreDIble!
